Lancaster City’s on-loan Brazilian striker, Rodrigo Branco, has returned to parent club Fleetwood Town in a bid to earn himself a contract extension.
City’s joint boss Michael Stringfellow said: “His contract is up in January so they wanted to have a look at him and it gives him the opportunity to fight for an extension.
“He’s got a lot of potential. He’s fast, got quick feet and did score goals for us.
“Like all players of his experience he needs to work on his all-round game but he can play at a higher level. He just needs games.
“He enjoyed his time with us and thanked me and Neil when he left. We wish him all the best.”
