“BRING it on.” That is is the message from Lancaster City assistant manager Phil Brown ahead his side’s trip to Bamber Bridge tomorrow.
The Dolly Blues will be looking to put the 5-0 defeat away at Durham City on Tuesday night behind then when they line up against their local rivals.
Brown said: “I can’t wait (for the game against Bamber Bridge). I love local derbys. This league is very up and down so we’ll dust ourselves down and work on where we went wrong on Tuesday night. We wont be wallowing in self-pity.
“It’ll be a great game for the players and me and Tony. We know Bamber Bridge manager Tony Greenwood and a lot of their players and it’s right on our doorstep. Bring it on.
“It wasn’t a poor performance on Tuesday. It was an inexperienced one. The lads worked hard and there was tons of commitment.
