However, it was still Garstang who were dominating proceedings, Landless bringing a good save from the Eagley ‘keeper before Tom Graham had a shot blocked.

Michael Donlon, a new arrival from Lancaster City, wasn’t out of the action in the Garstang goal however producing a couple of sharp saves.

But it was the hosts who were creating chance after chance, Adam Roskell, Danny Birch, Landless and Breslin all going close either side of the break.

Despite Garstang’s pressure it was Eagley who went in front on 49 minutes with Lindley given the time to stroke the ball past Donlon.

Crossley’s men were soon level however, Bell teeing up Landless who equalised with a fine finish.

Garstang continued their assault on the Eagley goal in search of a winner and they had one big chance late on but Breslin could only fire over after being found by a Landless through ball.

Eagley finished the game with 10 men after Jack Horam was sent off for two bookable offences.

Garstang next host Lostock St Gerards on Wednesday night before travelling to Fulwood Amateurs on Saturday.
