Morecambe’s Sampson joins Macclesfield on loan
The 21-year-old, who has seen first team opportunities limited this season, joined the Vanarama Conference side as the Football League’s loan window closed on Thursday.
Sampson, whose contract expires in the summer, has made 58 appearances and scored five goals for The Shrimps since his move from Bolton Wanderers.

Bentley said: “Jack’s first-team opportunities of late have been limited.
“We’ve received numerous offers over the last few months for loan moves that for one reason or another haven’t quite worked out.
“Macclesfield contacted us around lunchtime today and Jack has decided that this would be a great opportunity to get some first-team football.
“We were also hoping to have been able to announce an addition to the squad but we weren’t quite able to agree a deal.”
