Morecambe's match at Fleetwood Town moved for Sky cameras

The match at Highbury was due to be played on Saturday, September 21 (3pm).

However, it will be shown live on Sky Sports Football and means it will now take place on Monday, September 23 with an 8pm kick-off.

The Shrimps will have three live games before the end of September, as matches on the opening day and a Carabao Cup tie will also be broadcast under the new TV deal between the EFL and Sky.

Morecambe’s pre-season schedule has also been finalised with a trip to Burton Albion completing their preparations for the 2024/25 campaign.

They head to the Pirelli Stadium on August 3 (3pm), seven days before the season gets underway.

It’s also been confirmed that Saturday’s opening pre-season match at Kendal Town will now kick off at 2pm.

The trip to Burscough on July 16 also has a new kick-off time of 7.45pm.
