Having seen Adam Phillips recalled by Burnley and loaned to Accrington Stanley earlier in the day, the Shrimps have filled that gap with the signing of the 20-year-old.

A former England U17 and U18 international, Denny started his career with Everton and made his debut for them in a Europa League win at Apollon Limassol in December 2017.

He also made three appearances for the Toffees in their EFL Trophy campaign in the 2019/20 season, at the end of which he joined Salford.
