Morecambe have beaten the loan deadline to sign Blackpool's Connor Oliver.
The midfielder joins until the end of the season having made eight appearances for the Seasiders this season, four coming in the league.
The 22-year-old began his career with Sunderland after progressing thorough the youth teams before signing for Blackpool on an 18-month contract in January 2015.
As with many Jim Bentley loan signings, Oliver is out of contract in the summer and an impressive showing between now and the end of the season could extend his stay at the Globe Arena further.
He has been signed in time to make his debut against Plymouth at the Globe Arena on Friday.
