Morecambe manager misses out on monthly award
Derek Adams has missed out on being named March’s manager of the month in League Two.
The award has been won by Bolton Wanderers’ boss, Ian Evatt who saw his side post five wins and a draw from their six matches.
Adams had been placed on the four-man shortlist after a month when Morecambe picked up 13 points from 18.
Wins over Crawley Town, Carlisle United, Harrogate Town and Cheltenham Town, as well as a draw with Forest Green Rovers, had kept the Shrimps firmly in the promotion race.

Adams already has one monthly award to his name this season, having picked up December’s prize after his players took 15 points from 18 that month.
Also on the shortlist for March’s award were Rob Kelly (Barrow AFC) and Alex Revell Stevenage.
