Morecambe boss Bentley relieved to have free Tuesday night
The Shrimps have impressed in wins over Bury and Carlisle United over the last seven days but they have been without the injured Aaron Wildig, Adam Dugdale, Laurence Wilson and Andy Fleming.
Having played five games in 14 days Bentley is now hoping at least a couple will return for the long trip south to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

Hide AdBentley said: “We’re struggling a bit with injuries so we’re missing a few players.
“Laurence Wilson broke down again with his hamstring injury in training on Friday but I think we’ll probably have two or three back next Saturday.
“It’s a great opportunity with a free week coming off the back of two fantastic away results to let the lads regroup, re-energise and get their legs back for another difficult away game at Wimbledon.”
The Shrimps will head to Kingsmeadow full of confidence with sizzling counter-attacking displays on the road a feature of their season thus far.

Hide AdBentley said: “The only game we’ve lost away from home was Hartlepool (on the opening day) and that was questionable.
“We didn’t deserve to lose that game and we’re doing well on the road.
“We want to turn our home performances around and keep the back door shut a bit more but we’ve certainly go it right going one way.
“We’re scoring goals and looking a threat and we’ve got to continue that.”
