Lancaster City have been busy in the transfer market over the past week.
The Dolly Blues have secured the services of Craig Stanley and Robert Wilson, while Charlie Russell and Glenn Steel have agreed new contracts.
Former Morecambe ace Stanley has been signed from Barwell, while Wilson arrives from Workington.
“I’m very happy to have secured the services of Craig Stanley," said Brown.
"He will be a very valuable player for us this season. He’s an excellent footballer who has a wealth of experience and to coin a phrase ‘he’s as fit as a butchers dog’!
"He really impressed me last year when he played against us at centre back for Barwell. He has dropped back into that position and looks really comfortable.
“I am delighted to have signed Rob, he is a quality player and will do well for us.
"Rob is a well-balanced central midfielder, he’s comfortable on the ball and he competes well off it. I’ve watched him play quite a few times over several seasons and he’s always been impressive."
