Lancaster City 0-0 Shaw Lane
After a fairly even opening quarter of an hour, Sam Bailey had the first real chance of the game for the Dolly Blues but his effort from distance was comfortably held by goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski.
Visiting skipper David Norris has Shaw Lane’s first chance of the game in the 38th minute but his shot was deflected over after some neat build-up play.

Hide AdFrom the corner, Paul Clayton headed goalwards but City goalkeeper Elliot Wynne tipped the ball over the bar before Kelvin Lugsden missed the target with a header of his own, as the two sides went into the half-time break level.
Alex Byrne had the first real effort at goal in the second half for Shaw Lane but his shot hit teammate Chib Chilaka who was stood in an offside position.
City went close to opening the scoring in the 62nd minute when Craig Carney’s effort from a corner was cleared off the line by Lugsden.
Shaw Lane had a great chance to break the deadlock in the 74th minute when Tyler Williams found himself unmarked inside the penalty area but his shot was saved by Wynne in the City goal.

Hide AdLugsden headed wide for the visitors in the 77th minute and Byrne then brought another save out of the City keeper. The Dolly Blues very nearly won it in the final minute but Paul Dugdale’s freekick was well saved by Wilczynski as the teams shared the spoils.
