A Garstang teen has realised his footballing dream after turning professional with Liverpool.
Highly-rated Adam Phillips has signed pro terms with the Premier League giants after turning 17.
The England under 16 international is tipped for big things at Anfield having signed from Blackburn Rovers as an under 11 player.
Midfielder Phillips received his first call up for the first team in the summer of 2014 where he featured in a number of pre-season friendlies.
He made his full Liverpool debut in Denmark in July and also played against Preston North End at Deepdale before being invited to join the club’s senior players on their tour of America.
Phillips principally plays for Liverpool’s under 18 side but has also featured for the under 21s this season.
He is known for his fine range of passing, free-kick taking and ability to score spectacular goals.
