The Riversiders reflected on a season which saw them win the West Lancashire League Premier Division and a place in the Hallmark Security League for 2018/19.

For good measure, Lee Baker’s players also won the Richardson Cup and were runners-up in the Lancashire Shield final.

The success didn’t end there as the reserves won their league title and the Stewart Rowe Memorial Cup.

The first award of the night was presented to Bob Freeman who has served the club as a player, manager and volunteer for 50 years.

Clubman of the Year went to Neil Beesley who, as well as being first team assistant manager, organised and helped get their ground up to the standard required to move up the pyramid.

50 Years Service Award: Bob Freeman.
