Garstang had to dig deep and weathered a storm before Bell levelled things up when his 40-yard free-kick evaded everyone on its way into the net.

The winner came in the 87th minute, Roskell firing through a crowd of players with his shot going off the post and in.

Slyne were also 2-1 winners on Saturday, seeing off Hesketh Bank at Bottomdale Road. Jamie Hastings and former Lancaster City man Ryan Elderton were on target for the hosts who sit fourth in the table.

The derby is a 3pm kick-off at the Riverside.
