Former Blackpool and Fleetwood defender Luke Higham signs for Dolly Blues

The 23 year old has been training with the Dolly Blues over the last couple of weeks whilst awaiting his international clearance from Australia.

He has been Down Under over the past year, playing for Moreland City before moving back to the UK this summer.

Higham made 11 appearances for the Seasiders in League One before moving to Fleetwood. He also has National League experience after loan moves with Telford and Nuneaton.

Capable at centre half or anywhere down the left side, he is expected to be involved in City’s match squad for the Morpeth game tomorrow night.
