Devitt has red card rescinded
Morecambe midfielder Jamie Devitt has had his red card from Saturday’s game against Wycombe Wandereres rescinded.
The Shrimps appealed the decision after studying video evidence of the incident which happened early in the second half of the 3-1 defeat.
Manager Jim Bentley was pleased with the decision.
He said: “We are delighted that the authorities have agreed with our viewpoint and I am pleased that Jamie will be available for the next three games because he is a big player for us.”
