Bentley: ‘Bradford will be a tough test’

MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley says his side will face probably their toughest away trip yet at Bradford tonight, Tuesday.

The Shrimps are unbeaten on the road in League 2 this season and are yet to concede a goal away from the Globe Arena but Phil Parkinson’s side have won all three of their games at the Coral Windows Stadium.

“They have won all three home games so far and scored a few goals in the process so it is definitely going to be a tough game for us,” said Bentley.

“Phil Parkinson has brought in some very experienced players this year including (former Morecambe man) Garry Thompson and they have a lot of attacking options.

“They will definitely test us but we have shown that we are a match for anyone on our day and if our defence can stay as tight as it has been on the road so far this season then we will give ourselves a chance of getting a result.”

Shrimps players Robbie Threlfall and Kevin Ellison will line up against their former club.
