The promoter of promising Morecambe puncher Isaac Lowe admits he is struggling to keep up with the fast-rising Westgate Warrior.
The 19-year-old is undefeated in four professional contests after a string of dazzling displays.
And promoter Steve Wood, of VIP Promotions, says Lowe is progressing quickly in the paid ranks.
He said: “Overall we’re happy with him.
“If anything, we might have to slow him down a bit because if keeps chinning people the way he has been he’ll get to where we want him to be quicker than we want him to get there.
“But we still want to progress him at the same time.”
Lowe last fought at the beginning of June with a stoppage inside 90 seconds of Aaron Flinn in Blackpool and hopes to be out next on the undercard of good friend Tyson Fury’s British heavyweight superfight with David Haye at the Manchester Arena on September 28.
Wood said: “He’s trying to get his mate Tyson to get him on the card and hopefully he can pull a few strings.
“But everyone wants to be on that show.”
Wood also promotes Bentham bruiser Tomi Tatham and said the light heavyweight was a true student of boxing.
He said: “If anything the pro game suits him more than the amateurs and he’s improving every day and wants to learn. He’s really nice to work with.”
