Torrisholme maintain perfect start with win over Eccleston

Torrisholme made it two wins out of two to start the new Palace Shield Division One season as they successfully chased down a rain-adjusted total at Eccleston.

The visitors’ target was adjusted to 130 from 41 overs with Adam Bee (38) and James Ferguson (30) exploding into action.

Even with a little wobble Chris Parry (19) and Daniel Woods (21) took the score to 100 before Karl Hansson and Jack Andreae got Torrisholme over the line.
