Reece MacMillan's professional debut postponed
The Morecambe welterweight was due to enter the paid ranks on the MGM Manchester show at Preston’s Guild Hall on Saturday night.
But MacMillan and his manager Kieran Farrell discovered on Wednesday that an issue with his medical would not be sorted in time for his debut.

“It’s really frustrating but hopefully I’ll have a date sorted for him next week.”
On Facebook, former Skerton ABC man MacMillan said: “I am absolutely gutted my first professional fight this Saturday 20th Feb is unable to go ahead due to an error with my medical which is unable to be corrected for Friday.
“This is not an error on my part so all I can do is apologise to everyone who has bought tickets to support me.

Refunds are being offered for anyone now not wanting to attend Saturday night’s show.
