Fury shocked the world as he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko with a unanimous points victory in Dusseldorf on Saturday night.

And Mick Hennessy, who has guided the undefeated 27-year-old throughout his near seven-year ring career, was clearly moved at the realisation of a dream.

Hennessy said: "It's emtional, very, very emotional.

"We set out with a dream and we believed this was his destiny. He's a real, special, unique person, not just in the ring but out of it.

"He's a kind gentleman, loyal and an unbelievable person. He deserves this more than anything else in the world.

"He's going to respresent the heavyweight title like no other.

"This man's heart is as big this arena and the best is still to come.

"Peter's done a tremendous job and we are a cracking team.

"We've done it against all odds, against all doubters and against people putting spanners in the works.

"This is a great team effort."

Tyson's trainer and uncle Peter Fury paid tribute to his late brother Hughie post-fight, the Lancaster boxing figure who first trained Tyson as a professional having passed away just over a year ago.

Peter said: "We planned it and worked on a hell of a lot of stuff.

"Like I've always said. This is a very, very talented fighter and you can only work with the talent you've got.

"I'm absolutely over the moon with it, I'm ecstacic.

"I dedicate it to my late brother. It couldn't be any better for us as a family."
