Isaac Lowe says he is in the shape of his life ahead of his English title defence.

Morecambe’s unbeaten Westgate Warrior will put his belt on the line for the first time against Ryan Doyle at the Manchester Arena on November 21.

The show is headlined by Anthony Crolla’s world title clash with Darleys Perez and Lowe believes preparation at Freedom ABC in Doncaster couldn’t have gone any better.

He said: “Training is going absolutely great.

“I’ve had some great sparring with (European featherweight champion) Josh Warrington and my weight is perfect.

“I was even able to have pizza the other day, that shows you how good it is!

“I’m in the best shape of my life and come November 21st I can’t make any excuses about my stamina or fitness.

“I’ve got thank my trainers Dave (Hulley) and Jimmy (Harrington) for that.”
