Disneyland Paris is one of the most popular tourist holiday spots, loved by both adults and children alike, but it can cost a lot to get there.

If you are hoping to pay Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck a visit this year, you could save hundreds of pounds by booking your trip online via the theme park’s European sites.

Cheaper prices

Holidaymakers could make significant savings by checking the offers available on Disney’s European sites, including their French, German and Belgian websites.

Each of these sites run different special offers at any given time throughout the year, meaning the holiday you want could be available at much cheaper price. Offers can include discounts on the price of park tickets, meals and hotels, helping you to save precious pennies for your trip.

A three night stay at the Sequoia Lodge, including four day park tickets, was priced at €1,024.36 (approximately £871) when booked via the French site, according to The Sun.

The same trip was priced at £1,740.97 on the English site - meaning holidaymakers would make a saving of nearly £874 if booked elsewhere.

However, the English option did include half board, while no meals were included in the French offer.

Bargain deals

Booking via Disney’s French website is extremely good value at the moment, as it is currently offering a deal for up to 35 per cent off with under 12s going free.

Similar bargain deals are also available on the Italian site, where there is an offer of up to 25 per cent off hotel and park packages, plus free half board, on trips in the spring.

An offer for 20 per cent off hotel and park tickets, plus a free €200 (approximately £170) gift card, is also up for grabs on the Dutch website.

But Brits looking to book via the UK site can still snap up some good deals, with up to 20 per cent off hotel and park tickets (plus free dining and €100 - approximately £85 - in spending money) currently on offer for summer trips.

Doing some research on the various Disney sites before you book could earn you hundreds of pounds in savings, so it is worth shopping around.

A message on the Disneyland Paris UK website explains that offers presented to British holidaymakers are specially adapted for their country, but it is possible to book offers from other countries.

However, be sure to use an overseas-friendly credit card if booking via one of Disney’s European sites to avoid currency conversion fees.
