YOUR WORKPLACE: Growing with Grace

Nestled between the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland AONB, just outside the village of Clapham, is a market garden with a difference.

Founded in 2000, Growing with Grace is an ethical business which draws on Quaker principles (honesty, integrity, simplicity, equity, community) and the values of the international Co-operative movement.

They believe in a food system which promotes the well-being of consumers, the environment and future generations; that’s why we are certified by the Soil Association as being 100 per cent organic.

For 18 years they have been growing using organic methods in their 2.5 acres of glasshouses, supplying our many local and online customers with delicious, high-quality food, all year round.

Their seasonal produce includes salads, tomatoes, herbs, peas, beans, squashes, kales, broccoli, beetroot, leeks, asparagus, cherries, figs, peaches…and many, many more!

What they can’t grow themselves they buy from organic farms around the UK and further afield (with a commitment to never supplying produce which has been air-freighted).

They also supply a wide range of organic groceries and household goods, all of which can be ordered through their online delivery scheme or found in their small farm shop.
