In the Lancaster Guardian dated May 22, Tory MP David Morris brags about the Government giving three times as much funding for 2011-15 to Lancashire County Council towards school places than the previous Labour Government did during 2007/8 to 2010/2011.

This is hardly surprising as Labour was hit with the worst recession since the 30s in 2007/8, or has he forgotten that?

After bailing out your friends and sponsors who created the economic collapse, the banks, surely you would expect them to be a bit prudent with taxpayers’ money?

After all, the Tories always bang on about big-spending Labour governments and councils.
