Having just spent nine days in the RLI in coronary care and Blackpool Hospital I would like to let the people in our area know the care and attention one receives by these wonderful nurses and all the other nursing staff is, quite frankly, of the highest quality possible.
Nothing is too much trouble. They just cannot do enough for one.
They never stop from arriving for their “shift” of 12 hours, yes 12 hours, until they hand over to the next set of saints.
To all of them from the ambulance crew who answered my emergency call at midnight, those in A&E, the Acute Medical Centre, CCU, ward 37 at the RLI, I thank you all for all the care and kindness shown to me.
Must not forget the heart unit at Blackpool, they too were brilliant.
Now back at home thanks to each and everyone of those wonderful people.
Thank you so very much.
You know, Sir Winston Churchill made his wartime speech “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few” after the Battle of Britain. Well, the people I have mentioned above are in that same fold.
