In her angry attack on the traders of Lancaster’s street market, Suzi Bunting, manager of the Lancaster BID organisation, calls for a “sense of proportion” in her unsurprising support of the re-organisation of the market (£1m spent for a reason, August 14).
Suzi is manager of an organisation which 33 per cent of Lancaster city centre businesses voted against establishing. So to put this in perspective, Suzi represents two-thirds of a handful of people.
The Lancaster Guardian reports that over 1,000 city residents have signed a petition calling for market traders to remain in their established positions.
How about that for a “sense of proportion”?
