Youngster rescued from tree in Morecambe
A young teenager girl had to be rescued from a tree after she climbed it and could not get down.
Firefighters were called to Torrisholme Park on Lancaster Road over the weekend to rescue the girl.
Crews from Morecambe and Lancaster pitched a ladder to rescue the girl who climbed the tree and could not get down on Sunday (September 4) at around 4.50pm.
The girl suffered no injuries.
