Witnesses sought after collision in Lancaster

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a car and bicycle in Lancaster last month.

At around 4pm on Sunday April 24, a Black Mini Cooper and a male cyclist on a blue mountain bike have collided on Torrisholme Road at the junction with Barley Cop Lane.

The cyclist suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung.

Road Policing Officer PC Steve Wood said: “Both the cyclist and the female driver of the Mini have been sp oken to by officers and no arrests have been made.

“We now need anyone who may have seen the incident to come forward and speak to us so we can ascertain exactly how this collision has come to occur.”
