Witness appeal after cars damaged at Lancaster train station

The man believed to be responsible then boarded a train to Barrow-in-Furness.

British Transport Police have just released an image of a man they want to speak after the cars were damaged.

Investigating officer PC Gavin Daw said: “A man was seen to enter the car park and deliberately pull the rear window wiper blades off three parked cars before boarding a train to Barrow in Furness.”

Officers believe the man in the image could have vital information about the incident and urge him or anyone who recognises him to come forward to help police with their enquiries.

The incident occurred at 11pm on Saturday, July 11.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B4 of 25/08/2015.
