Views wanted on new parish council in Lancaster

A new parish council covering parts of the Marsh and Scotforth West could be established in Lancaster.

A petition from residents has gone in to Lancaster City Council asking for the new parish, to be called Aldcliffe-with-Stodday Parish Council.

A public consultation is now under way.

Anyone who works or has property interests in the creation of Aldcliffe-with-Stodday Parish Council is invited to submit representations in writing to Lancaster City Council before 5pm on Friday August 5.
