VIDEO: Team gets set for Born Survivor in aid of hospice

Born Heroes team prepare for the mighty challenge as fifth training session gets underway.

In less than two months teams will be undertaking the military style obstacle course at Lowther Castle on April 4.

The Lancaster Guardian and its sister paper the Visitor has teamed up with Lancaster gym, Fitness Formation, and Born Survivor to raise £100,000 toward the Save Our Hospice campaign for Lancaster St John’s Hospice.

Fitness Formation has arranged Sunday sessions at the University of Cumbria to help tackle the course which is designed to test strength, vigour and teamwork.

The hourly sessions at 9.30am are free of charge and open to all who wish to take part.

A collection bucket for the hospice will be on site at each session.
