Having just moved the entire business into prestigious new premises on Lancaster's Dalton Square, times are exciting for V-Move Estate Agents.

The company move comes three years almost to the day after Victoria Green first launched the business at its original offices near Carnforth, in June 2013.

Since then, the company has been a finalist for Property Company of the Year in the Red Rose Awards, New Business of the Year at the Eva Awards and listed in Zoopla’s top ten of the UK’s Most Influential Estate Agents.

Victoria says: “V-Move has thrived by taking a very hands-on approach to getting houses sold. Launching in harsh times for the industry, we have sold houses that have languished on the market for years with no real interest, breathed new life into homes that have gone stale, and achieved more than market value for others.

“I would put our success down to the basics of honesty and enthusiasm, coupled with a bucket load of proven strategies for getting properties sold at the very best possible price.

“Customer service is at the heart of what we do and we pride ourselves on attention to detail. We aim to make clients feel like royalty, while getting the very best price for their property.

“We really, really love what we do, and I think clients can feel and appreciate that, and they love us for it too.”

As well as heading V-Move, Victoria is also chapter president of BNI Morecambe, a local networking group that generated more than £700,000 for its members in the last year.

BNI works by organising weekly networking meetings for groups of businesses who work to find business opportunities for one another. Each group, or chapter, follows proven networking processes to ensure the maximum amount of business is generated for members.

Established more than 30 years ago, BNI now has more than 185,000 members in more than 70 countries worldwide. As chapter president of BNI Morecambe, Victoria attributes the structured networking processes as a key factor in success for all the businesses in the chapter, including V-Move.

She says: “BNI Morecambe is one of two groups currently operating in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. Each one is at different stages of growth, but we’re all aiming to become two million pound chapters, which is quite common for a group with 40 members or more.

“We’re really proud to have achieved £700,000 in referrals in the last year for BNI Morecambe. We currently have 27 members and, with more people applying to join the group every week, we’re aiming to get to the magic 40 plus, and become a £2m chapter as soon as possible.”

“I think the secret to success with BNI is getting the right people in the group. We’re very lucky to have a fantastic set of people already, and we always welcome visitors to come along to see if it’s something that could work for them too. The more good people there are in a group, the better it works for everyone, so our doors are always open.”
