UPDATE: Man found with slash wounds in Heysham

A 44-year-old man was found with slash wounds after a burglary took place on Cavendish Road, in Heysham.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the burglary.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.15pm.

The man has been taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and police say his injuries are not currently life threatening.
