A list has been drawn up showing exactly which pubs are still open across Lancaster city centre despite the Tier 3 Covid-19 restrictions.

Lancaster BID said it planned to update the list on a weekly basis, and is urging people to keep supporting them.

Tony Johnson, Lancaster BID manager, said: "Even though we are in Tier 3 there are still many great places in our Hospitality sector across the city that are open and waiting to greet you with a warm welcome and a hearty meal to keep you warm on this cold autumn days.

"We are lucky to have so many great pubs here in the city and we need to try and keep supporting them through these difficult times to make sure they are all still there when we get through this helping to make Lancaster such a wonderful vibrant city to visit and live."

Here is a list of pubs in Lancaster that are still open and serving substantial meals:

The Borough - alcohol can only be served with meals 1 household per table

Corner House - Various offers throughout the week

Crafty Scholar – open for food and drink and sports

Customers are being urged to make sure they let the pub know if they intend to cancel, as the table can then be offered to someone else.
