Lancaster BID said it planned to update the list on a weekly basis, and is urging people to keep supporting them.
Tony Johnson, Lancaster BID manager, said: "Even though we are in Tier 3 there are still many great places in our Hospitality sector across the city that are open and waiting to greet you with a warm welcome and a hearty meal to keep you warm on this cold autumn days.

Here is a list of pubs in Lancaster that are still open and serving substantial meals:
The Borough - alcohol can only be served with meals 1 household per table
Corner House - Various offers throughout the week
Crafty Scholar – open for food and drink and sports
Glow Rooms – table bookings with meals available
Kanteena - various events throughout the week including flea markets every Sunday
Sir Richard Owen - open for food and drink

Customers are being urged to make sure they let the pub know if they intend to cancel, as the table can then be offered to someone else.
