Lancaster Area Police said that a disturbance took place where a man and a woman were attacking another man.

They appealed for witnesses as the area was quite busy at the time, and subsequently, Lisa Podd, 37, and Darren Bidulph, 50, both of Tarnsyke Road, Lancaster, were arrested and then charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause or provoke fear of violence.
