The data also showed that - up to March 5 2021 across the Lancaster district - the total number of deaths where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate stood at 320.

Hide AdToday, March 23, marks exactly a year since the country went into lockdown for the first time.The government's interactive Covid map showed that Lancaster Central, Marsh, Haverbreaks and Scotforth West, Scotforth East and Bowerham, Moorlands and Greaves, Halton and Caton, Morecambe Westgate, Morecambe Town, Morecambe West End, Bare, Hest Bank and Slyne, Carnforth, Silverdale and Warton and Kellet and Lune Valley all recorded fewer than three new cases of Covid-19 in the week up to March 17.
When there are fewer than three cases in any given area, the rates are shown as "suppressed" to protect individuals' identities.
Heysham and Overton had 10 new cases, Lancaster East had four, Skerton and Vale had three, Scale Hall and Torrisholme had seven, Morecambe South West had five, and University, Galgate and Dolphinholme had five.
All areas of the Lancaster district had lower than the national average number of new cases in the week up to March 17.
