New Lancaster ibis budget hotel to open on former Travelodge site

Subject to demand, the hotel in King Street will initially open for essential travel and key worker accommodation only from Monday March 22 2021, before opening for non-essential travel on Monday May 17.
The company said that the 115-bedroom hotel will feature free Wi-Fi as standard.

Hide AdThe hotel is joining the global ibis budget brand - which has over 600 hotels in over 20 countries - having previously operated as a Travelodge.


To mark the opening of the hotel, guests will be able to take advantage of a three nights for price of two offer for stays before Wednesday September 1 2021.
AGO Hotels launched in July 2020 as an alternative platform for hotel owners and operators, specialising in the budget hotels sector.
The company said it distinctive business model will help ensure the long-term success of the new hotel in central Lancaster with a 25-year lease designed to withstand challenging market conditions during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
