New image released as Eden Project North's Morecambe vision awaits tomorrow's Budget announcement

Political, educational and civic leaders from across the North West have also added their voices to calls for the government to announce the funding for the project in tomorrow's budget.

A recent online community conversation hosted by Eden Project North revealed a more detailed look at how the inside of one of the Mussel shaped biomes in Morecambe could look.

David Harland, chief executive of Eden Project International, told youth representatives from the Morecambe Bay area that the image represented a visitor experience idea called The Rhythm Machine, which focusses on the changing seasons and the tide.

The conversation also looked at how a new Morecambe Bay curriculum will raise the hopes and prospects of young people living in the area, with points of view from Jenny Natusch, Founder of Escape2Make, and Yak Patel, Chief Executive of Lancaster District Community & Voluntary Solutions.

You can watch the video HERE.Luke Hall, Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government, told Morecambe and Lunesdale MP David Morris in parliament recently that the project is "exactly the kind of project that the Government wish to support".However, it remains to be seen whether Eden Project North will get a mention - or have its funding confirmed - in Rishi Sunak's Budget tomorrow, March 3.
