Morecambe Bay health trust announces further coronavirus death at Royal Lancaster Infirmary
Aaron Cummins, Chief Executive, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust said: "We can confirm that, sadly, a woman aged 78 has died who tested positive for COVID-19 whilst being treated at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
"The lady had underlying health conditions and died in the last few days.

Six other people who tested positive for COVID-19 have died at The Royal Lancaster Infirmary, all had underlying health conditions.
