Audrey Glover, from Stand Up To Racism Lancaster and Morecambe, which coordinated the collection, thanked all of those that donated, helped and supported.

Single Step in Lancaster provided a collection point, and all of the items were sent off from Lancaster Town Hall this week.

They will be collected at a distribution hub in Manchester before being sent on to Calais.

Another collection is due to take place in January.
