Patients are asked to have their QR code ready on entry, and to keep all vehicle windows closed.

Military personnel wearing face masks are directing traffic into the car park, and then to a designated testing point.

The car park will be closed to normal traffic between Monday and Wednesday May 4 - 6, and the testing centre will be open between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day.

A temporary Covid-19 testing centre has opened in Lancaster.

The council is asking people not to park here during these times unless they have booked a test.

Key workers showing symptoms can book a test, as well as people showing symptoms who are aged over 65 or working at a different place to their home.

Tests need to be booked in advance at www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-getting-tested.
