Two injured in two car smash

Two people were injured after an accident in Lancaster.

Police said they were called to Bulk Road at 11.35am on Thursday to a two car smash.

A silver Citroen C4 and a silver Suzuki were involved in the crash.

North West Ambulance Service attended at 12.04pm with a number of vehicles, including an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.

A man with a back injury and a woman with a head injury were taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment.

North West Ambulance Service said there were only minor injuries.
