Two arrested in immigration swoop in Lancaster

Acting on intelligence, Immigration Enforcement officers conducted a joint operation with Lancashire Police in Lancaster city centre early today, May 10.

This was in response to allegations that European Economic Area (EEA) nationals were not exercising their treaty rights by rough sleeping.

Two Polish men were arrested and both were detained pending their removal from the UK.
