Flooding on M6 near Lancaster leads to lane closure
A lane has been closed on the M6 near Lancaster due to flooding this morning (February 20).
The closure affects lane 1 of the M6 southbound between junctions 34 (Caton Road) and 33 (Hampson Green).
Highways said its maintenance crews are en route to clear the flood water.
It leaves two lanes open for southbound traffic.
Heavy rain is expected across Lancashire today, with 10 flood alerts currently in place in the county.
