Traffic was stopped while police, paramedics and firefighters attended the scene, resulting in significant delays of up to 30 minutes in the area.

But Highways England have confirmed the motorhome has since been moved from the carriageway and traffic has been released.

A spokesman for Highways England said: "The road has now been completely re-opened.

"Thank you for your patience and have a safe onward journey."
