A teenager has cycled more than 200 miles to raise vital funds for Help For Heroes.

Kyle Lewis, from Torrisholme, decided he would try to cycle from Morecambe to Scarborough and back again the next day – a total of 260 miles.

The 15-year-old was accompanied by Paolo Brucciani on the road and raised £649.33 for the charity.

Kyle, who is a member of Salt Ayre cycling club, did lots of training after school, at weekends and in the holidays.
