There is life beyond Jeremy Clarkson for James May as he showed on a visit to Lancaster.
The Top Gear presenter, a former Lancaster University student, popped in to The Borough pub in Dalton Square on Tuesday. May enjoyed some food and ale at the pub/restaurant and told assistant manager Russell Daley how much he enjoyed the meal. Russell described the TV star as “a pleasant chap”.
May presents the hit BBC motoring show with Richard Hammond. Clarkson will be replaced as host after he was sacked in March following a fracas with a producer.
