Three vehicle crash at Carnforth

TWO lorries and a van crashed near junction 35 of the M6 at Carnforth causing disruption for travellers.

Police said the crash occurred just before 6.30am this morning and two lanes of traffic had to be closed whilst debris was cleared.

The fire service attended the scene to deal with a casualty before they were taken to hospital.

The driver was not thought to be seriously injured.

Two lanes were blocked by debris which was cleared by 10.17am.

A police spokesperson said: “This caused some delays.”
