Three teens bailed after St Nicholas Arcades fire

Three teenagers have been bailed following a fire at a shopping centre in Lancaster.

The boys, aged 15, 15 and 17, from Lancaster, were arrested on Friday June 3, on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and have been bailed until July 13. No charges have been made.

Police launched an investigation after a fire at the St Nicholas Arcades which started at around 8.40pm on Wednesday June 1. It occurred in the vicinity of the Poundland and Superdrug stores and is thought to have caused around £10,000 to £15,000 worth of damage to the building.

The police would like to thank everyone who has provided information to the investigation so far.
